1. Who we are
This policy applies to candidates who use this portal to complete a verification application after being invited by our recruitment team, and to anyone who contacts our support team through it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your full name, email address, Indian mobile number, current city and state, and preferred communication channel.
- LinkedIn profile URL.
- Professional background: employment status, experience, current job title and employer, skills, industry, highest qualification and graduation year, notice period, preferred job location and work mode.
- Current and expected CTC, only if you choose to provide them.
- Your resume (PDF, DOC or DOCX).
- Your referral code, as shared by our recruitment team.
- Your replies to requests for additional information, and messages you send to our support team.
Information created when you use the portal
- Your application reference, status history and notes recorded by our verification staff.
- Consent records: each consent you give or withdraw, the policy version, a fingerprint of the exact wording shown to you, the date and time, a hashed form of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string.
- Where a fee applies, payment records: amount, tax breakdown, payment status and the transaction reference provided by our payment provider.
- Records of emails we send you, such as sign-in codes and status updates.
- Security and audit records, including sign-in events and rate-limiting counters. IP addresses are stored only as a keyed hash.
What we do not collect
- Aadhaar, PAN, passport or any other government identity document or number.
- Bank account, debit or credit card numbers, UPI PINs or net-banking credentials.
- Passwords — candidates sign in with one-time codes sent by email.
Please do not include identity document numbers or financial details in your resume or messages.
3. How we use your information
- To confirm your email address and keep you signed in securely.
- To process your application and carry out verification — reviewing your details, resume and LinkedIn profile for completeness and consistency.
- To check that your referral code belongs to an active, authorised recruitment campaign.
- To contact you about your application, including status updates and requests for information.
- Where a fee applies, to process payment, issue receipts and handle refunds.
- To refer a verified profile to the authorised employer for your campaign — only with your separate consent.
- To respond to support and privacy requests.
- To keep the portal secure and prevent fraud and misuse, including through rate limiting and audit logs.
- To comply with our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.
- To tell you about other relevant opportunities — only if you opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Consent and legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit your application, and for legitimate uses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as complying with the law.
- We keep a record of each consent: what it covered, the version of the policy shown, a fingerprint of the exact wording, and when it was given.
- Consent to share your profile with an employer is separate and optional. So is consent to receive updates about other opportunities.
- You can withdraw consent at any time through our Contact page. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. If you withdraw consent to the processing of your application, we may not be able to continue your verification.
5. When we share information
- With an authorised employer — only after a successful verification, and only if you have given separate consent to that employer referral. We share the profile details and resume relevant to the recruitment campaign. The employer then uses them for its own recruitment process under its own policies.
- With service providers who help us run the portal — such as hosting and database services, secure file storage, email delivery and payment processing. They act on our instructions and may use your data only to provide their services to us.
- With authorities where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government body.
If any of your personal data is processed outside India, this is done only as permitted under Indian law.
6. Payments
Where a verification fee applies, you pay on a secure checkout operated by our payment provider. Your card, UPI or banking details are entered directly with the provider. We do not receive or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or banking passwords — we receive only the payment status, amount and a transaction reference. The payment provider handles your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy.
7. How we protect your data
- Passwordless sign-in with one-time email codes that expire after 10 minutes.
- Resumes are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and uploaded files are checked for type and content on our server.
- Role-based access: staff can see only what their role requires, and staff accounts require multi-factor authentication.
- Access to sensitive data and important changes are recorded in audit logs.
- Connections to the portal are encrypted, and repeated attempts are rate-limited.
No system can be completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
8. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Application data is kept while your application is processed, during any employer referral you consented to, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer questions and resolve disputes.
- Payment and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws.
- Sign-in codes and sessions expire automatically.
When data is no longer needed, or when you ask us to erase it and no legal obligation requires us to keep it, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, to the extent in force, you can:
- access a summary of the personal data we process about you, our processing activities, and who we have shared it with;
- ask us to correct, complete or update your personal data;
- ask us to erase personal data that is no longer needed, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw any consent you have given;
- raise a grievance about how we have handled your personal data; and
- nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
To make a request, use our Contact page and choose “Privacy or data request”. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. The Act also asks you to provide accurate information and not to make false or frivolous complaints. If you are not satisfied with how we resolve a grievance, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies. After you confirm your email, we set a secure sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in to your application and tracking page for a limited period, or until you sign out. Staff use a similar cookie for the administration area.
We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Where a fee applies, our payment provider's checkout may set cookies needed to process your payment and prevent fraud, under the provider's own policies. If you block cookies in your browser, you will not be able to sign in.
11. Children
This portal is intended for job seekers aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly process personal data of children. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect is shown at the top of this page, and your consent records note the version you accepted. If we make a material change, we will tell candidates with active applications and ask for fresh consent where required.
